Trifarotene represents the newest generation of topical retinoids, specifically developed to deliver powerful comedolytic and anti-inflammatory results with enhanced precision. Unlike older retinoids, Trifarotene selectively targets retinoic acid receptor gamma (RAR-γ), the predominant RAR subtype found in human skin.
This targeted mechanism allows Trifarotene to efficiently reduce inflammatory acne lesions, prevent new breakouts, and smooth skin texture while maintaining high tolerability. Its unique pharmacokinetic profile makes it exceptionally effective not only for facial application but also for large surface areas such as the trunk, chest, and back (truncal acne).

How to use
1. Preparation: Gently wash the affected areas with a mild, non-comedogenic cleanser and pat completely dry.
2. Application: Apply a thin layer of Trifarotene to the clean, dry affected areas once daily, in the evening.
Dosage Guide: 1 pump usually covers the face; 2 pumps cover the upper trunk (chest, shoulders, back); 1 additional pump for the lower back if needed.
3. Moisturize: Apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer after application to help minimize potential dryness or flaking.
Sun Protection: Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) daily, as retinoids increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.
Cautions
External Use Only: Avoid contact with eyes, lips, mouth, nostrils, and mucous membranes.
Sun Sensitivity: Minimize exposure to sunlight and artificial UV light (tanning beds). Use protective clothing and sunscreen.
